After Prince’s tragic death, his ex-wife, Mayte Garcia, confirmed crazy rumors that the former couple had a child nearly two decades ago. Their son was born with Pfeiffer syndrome type 2, a genetic condition that can cause multiple physical deformities, like a misshapen head and webbed hands and feet. The baby sadly died just six days after his birth.
This seems too good to be true. The guitarist’s blood was apparently kept so thin from excessive alcohol consumption, that it helped him to unknowingly pass three blood clots through his heart and survive. What a miracle!
On December 23rd, 1987, Sixx passed out cold after overdosing on drugs and was later declared dead inside of an ambulance. But by some miracle, he woke up in the hospital after news of his death had been spread to both his bandmates and radio stations.

Van Halen knew that if the candies were taken out, then all their other requests had been followed.
During a performance, one of his fans threw an unconscious but live bat on stage. Ozzy, mistaking the live rodent for a stage prop, picked it up and promptly bit its head off. When he realized what he’d done, he knew he was in trouble and went for rabies shots immediately after the show.
Back in 2002, Michael Sudore filed two lawsuits against Sum 41, seeking damages of $6 million. He was claiming that the band member threw a hot dog at him at a local baseball game, and that they secretly taped the incident and included it without his permission in the 2002 DVD release, Does This Look Infected?.
The rumor is true and the story behind it is a little funny. Bassist Nikki Sixx and drummer Tommy Lee decided to wager a bet in 1980 while sitting in a hot tub to see who could go the longest without showering. After months had gone by, neither of them had cracked.
After the sad death of Gram Parsons, his corpse was stolen by his friend Phil Kaufman. Phil tried to set his coffin on fire because Parsons had asked for his remains to be cremated instead of buried. The plan didn’t quite work out though and Kaufman dumped Parsons’ body when he was chased by the authorities.
Surely this one can’t be 100% true, can it? The longest that Keith Richards has gone without sleep is nine days, which we suppose is almost as impressive as not sleeping at all, considering the amount of awesome music he created at the cost of being sleep deprived.
While Tupac is sadly no longer with us to tell whether this rumor is true or false, it was confirmed by some members of The Outlawz. Apparently, the odd idea came from Tupac’s song “Black Jesus,” where he said, “Last wishes, [expletive], smoke my ashes.”

You might never associate the infamous cult leader Charles Manson with the all American fun-loving surf band The Beach Boys, but at one point they were so close. After Manson was released from prison in 1967, he started his own music business. Dennis Wilson got a hold of one of his songs and eventually recorded it with the rest of The Beach Boys. After that, Manson spent some time at Dennis’ mansion before his strange behavior got him kicked out.
It’s true the two rock stars were found in bed naked. David Bowie’s ex-wife Angie claimed to have walked in on David Bowie naked in bed with Stones frontman Mick Jagger. However, Angie later reported that it wasn’t a “bromance,” and that they were just passed out from too much partying.
It is not a secret that Willie Nelson has a relationship with the devil’s lettuce, so it’s not surprising how far he was willing to go to keep it safe. In 1969, a few years before Nelson became famous, his house caught on fire and his friend called to tell him. Nelson rushed home and ran into the fire to save not his belongings, but the weed. He later explained, “I wasn’t brave running in the fire to get my dope…I was trying to keep the firemen from finding it and turning me over to the police.” He succeeded in saving his guitar and the drug, but many of his demo tapes were lost.
This story is perhaps one of the craziest ones in rock ‘n’ roll history. In 1957, Tyler convinced the parents of his then 14-year-old girlfriend, Julia Holcomb, to legally sign over their guardianship to him, so that they could date freely. The pair were together for four years before they split.
In 1989, 52-year-old Wyman married 18-year-old Mandy Smith. The pair had been dating since Smith was only 13 years old. Smith admitted that they had consummated their relationship when she was 14. Unsurprisingly, the marriage didn’t last long and the two divorced in 1991.
Michael Jackson is considered one of the greatest pop stars of all time, and Sonic the Hedgehog is one of the most successful video game franchises of all time. The rumor began when one MJ superfan found a strange similarity between Sonic 3’s background music and MJ’s style. In 2016, composers finally confirmed that MJ did contribute to the soundtrack.
Believe it or not, David Bowie’s eyes are two different colors. Many thought that this was because of heterochromia, a condition in which a person has two different iris colors. It is harmless and more common in dogs and cats than in humans. But the legendary artist didn’t have heterochromia, instead, his pupils were different sizes. In 1962, Bowie got into a fight with George Underwood over a girl. Bowie got punched in the left eye, which led to the muscles that contract the iris paralyzed.
It’s one of the most bizarre and grossest stories in rock history. The famous glam rock singer of 70s and 80s was sentenced to 16 years in prison in 2015 for sexual assault crimes against girls, with 10 years old being the youngest.
Jack White and Meg White formed The White Stripes in 1997, and rose to prominence in 2002 as part of the garage rock revival scene. Early on their career, the duo claimed they were siblings, the youngest two of ten. This claim was widely believed and repeated despite rumors that they were, or had been, husband and wife. Eventually, proof of their 1996 marriage emerged, as well as evidence of their 2000 divorce, just before the band gained widespread attention.
