Sierra Sport and Racquet Club offers an excellent space for a variety of training, from an indoor-fully loaded gym with classroom for cycle, pilates, cardio and more to two huge grass fields and two sport courts, not to mention 22 tennis courts. Steve Sobonya is the head trainer at Sierra Sport and Racquet and has continually brought new equipment and state of the art techniques to the facility. Progressive Sports caters to both members and non-members with workouts designed for novices to seasoned professional athletes.

Cardio Theatre

 - We're the only club in Fresno that has this unique audio and visual experience! What is Cardio Theater? The Cardio Theater system allows you to listen to the TV or radio right through your own headphones while you're working out on the cardiovascular equipment.  You just plug in, select one of eight TV's screens or 4 radio stations and that's it. You'll be able to watch TV while you workout on the treadmills, stair machines, bikes, Nordic track, or elliptical trainers and hear everything clearly through your headphones. Our members tell us they have doubled their cardio time since we've installed the Cardio Theater system.

Outdoor Pool and Heated Indoor Pool

-Our Jr Olympic size pool is available for you during our normal business hours
-Our indoor pool is heated year round for your enjoyment. The indoor pool is conveniently located next to our locker rooms for easy access. Join in our daily water exercise classes for an excellent overall workout, or just enjoy a swim on your own. The pools are available for use during regular business hours.
Indoor Racquet Ball Courts
-We are the only C.A.R.A. sanctioned Club in the valley, and we host two C.A.R.A. tournaments each year -- Dan Gamel's Rac-Attack in the spring and the Thunderbolt Open in the fall -- that draw players from all over the state. You will find some great competition on our seven indoor lighted racquetball courts. Lessons are available for all ages and abilities. You can always find a game on our Challenge Court, and members are encouraged to enter our many leagues.
